5th European College Day

The European College Day was founded 5 years ago with the main reason for promotion the specialist level of the clinical veterinary science in Croatia. Usually we provide well-known specialists from the field of veterinary dermatology furthermore we organize lectures about internal medicine and other specialist topics.

The meeting is very popular and free of charges for vet students and veterinarians. Young and active practitioners, specialists, interns, residents and final year students are very welcome to participate in our annual meeting.

This year we will have two lectures, first one about diagnosis and second about therapy in canine atopic dermatitis (one of the most common canine skin diseases). Finally, we can proudly present our speakers for this year, Prof. Doug DeBoer, diplomate of ACVD and Prof. Thierry Olivry, diplomate of ECVD and ACVD, pioneers and experts in the field of allergy and clinical immunology (more about authors you will find on the link at the home page).

Both lectures will be presented and worldwide shared as videoconferences. For the first time, we will give a video signal to the rest of the world, and participants can watch the lectures trough ordinary Internet program and send us some questions via web at the end of lecture. We have great equipment and possibilities together with our partner CARNET and it will be great challenge for us. We expect up to 2000 practitioners.
