The collection of the Institute of Forensic and Judicial Veterinary Medicine, which is displayed in the corridor of that Institute, includes old instruments, which our ancestors used to diagnose or treat various animal ailments. Alongside these there are also what are certainly the oldest diplomas of Croatian “kuršmid” – medical veterinaries. We should certainly also mention the valuable books, which deserve special attention due to their age, as well as the first serious books written in Croatian by our colleagues. Alongside all of this, the collection also includes the oldest legislation related to veterinary work.
