The subject of the research group are changes to the fatty acid composition of individual organs and the transport of lipids through cell membranes in Types 1 and 2 Diabetes and metabolic syndrome.
Research into large wild animals began at the Veterinary Faculty of the University of Zagreb in the 1980’s, which makes our research group one of the longest-running in Europe.
