Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of University of Zagreb in the Zagreb Spring Half Marathon

The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine relay team is back on the podium at the Zagreb Spring Half Marathon – 3rd place in the men’s category!

For the fourth time in a row, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Zagreb took part in the Zagreb Spring Half Marathon – Zagreb 21 – in the category of relay races and half marathons. Three relay teams, including the Mad Vets 1 team, consisting of Professor Krešimir Severin, assistant Ivan Tomić and students Florian Ardisson and Thomas Laurent, won the trophy for third place in the men’s relay. The second team, Mad Vets 2, in which postdoctoral students Kim Korpes and Petar Kostešić, assistant Nikola Čudina and Head of the Department of Postgraduate Studies Vedrana Pšenica ran, took seventh place in the Mixed Batting category. The third team, Mad Vets 3, was a female-male relay team consisting of Professor Maja Maurić Maljković, Professor Ivan-Conrado Šostarić-Zuckermann, assistant Iva Benvin and intern Magdalena Bogović, who finished fifth in their category.

The entire half marathon course was completed by Nikola Paripović, who finished 44th in the overall ranking of 917 runners and students of English study programme Veterinary Medicine: Charles Michel, 74th in the ranking, Thibaud Guichardiere (191st), John Robbins (265th), Eric Eichorn (445th), Mattan Attias (447th) and Léo-Paul Traëns (565th).
