11.06.2020., News

As part of the activities of the project “Establishment of postgraduate specialist studies in veterinary medicine in English”, 8 pieces of animal models for student practice were procured. It is the beginning of the establishment and equipping of the Clinical skills lab. CSL is a special form of classroom that represents a great benefit for students of integrated, but also postgraduate studies in veterinary medicine, teaching and non-teaching staff. CSL is the standard of modern veterinary education because it is an environment in which a student practices clinical skills before using them in real clinical settings. They allow users to acquire the necessary skills and techniques and self-evaluation before working on living patients.

As an initial step in equipping the CSL, 7 models of small animals and 1 horse head were procured.

Procurement of animal models was made possible through the project “Establishment of postgraduate specialist studies in veterinary medicine in English (UP.03.1.1.02.0026)”. The project is co-financed by the European Union from the Operational Program Effective Human Resources.
