The European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education (EAEVE) selected the student Irisz Koutis as a member of ESEVT Visitation Team to the Veterinary Education Establishment (VEE) of the University College Dublin (Dublin, Ireland) which will take place in November 2021. As the director of ESEVT Prof. Dr. Pierre Lekeux says, the participation of students in these Visitations is of great benefit to both the academic and personal development of students; not only will they become familiar with how quality assurance is implemented in an educational setting specific to their subject, but they will also be responsible for hearing and representing the views of other students, whilst collaborating with a team of accomplished Experts.
The rigorous application procedure that students go through to gain a place on a Visitation is a commendable reflection of the way in which the academic environment of our Establishment has prepared and motivated students to seek out such opportunities and work towards improving veterinary education in Europe and beyond.
