ESN Zagreb is looking for you to become a Buddy
If you want to create unforgettable memories, make a lifelong friend, meet a
different culture, then this is the right opportunity for you!
If you have not been on an exchange so far and you want to feel the charms of Erasmus
that everyone talks about when they return home, or if you have been on an exchange
and want to contribute to others during their mobility, now is the time to become a
Buddy!
Erasmus Student Network (ESN) Zagreb is a part of the largest European student
organisation Erasmus Student Network, which is a key volunteer student
organisation in international higher education in Europe, and has more than 15
thousand volunteers! One of the ways we help international and local students is
ESNbuddy – a project that aims to assign an incoming international student with an
“ESNbuddy” who is a local student willing to help an exchange student stand on his feet
in the first weeks in a new country.
All you have to do to become a Buddy is fill out your Papaya profile and answer a few
questions, and our Buddy Coordinator will find the perfect international student for
you! If you are still not sure if you need to apply, and you are looking for new
experiences and want to expand your circle of friends, then the answer is yes!
But what else can you gain from this memorable experience? That’s an easy question!
You will get the opportunity to create unforgettable memories and find a lifelong friend, and you can also get answers to questions about studying abroad, learning new
languages or learning first hand what it is like to live in another country. You will also be
entitled to an ESNcard – a membership card with which you can get many discounts
across Europe – Ryanair, Flixbus and many others – and all you need to do is fill out the
form and come to the ESN office!
