Job advertisement 

I. For the associate title and job placement: 

Postdoctoral researcher (1 position), a fixed-term contract at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Zagreb for work on the  project ,,Development of an innovative cow-side test for the diagnosis of subclinical mastitis in dairy cows” (Project acronim ,,InoMilko”, Grant Agreement no: KK.01.1.1.04.0086). A new employee can start with the work obligations right away.

The following should be attached to the application form:

• curriculum vitae
• certificate of nationality
• motivation letter
• proof of academic degree (copy of PhD degree in the area of biomedicine and health, biotechnical or natural sciences)
• evidence of scientific and professional activities

The additional qualification:

• hands-on experience in:

1. methods in molecular biology and medicine, such as electrophoresis (in agarose gel, SDS-PAGE), PCR, western blot, proteomics, metabolomics
2. bioinformatics, statistical analysis, database management, use of specialized software such as R, Proteome Discoverer, Mascot, Cytoscape
3. work on a mass spectrometer, and experience on a liquid chromatograph coupled with a mass spectrometer (LC-MS / MS)

• his / her involvement in all research processes in the Laboratory for Proteomics of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine is expected
• he / she will be involved in the processes of publishing scientific data and preparing project proposals

II. For the associate title and job placement:

Postdoctoral researcher (4 positions), a fixed-term contract (19 months) at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Zagreb for work on the  project ,,Development of an innovative cow-side test for the diagnosis of subclinical mastitis in dairy cows” (Project acronim ,,InoMilko”, Grant Agreement no: KK.01.1.1.04.0086).

The following should be attached to the application form:

Selected candidates will work in an international, interdisciplinary young team of the Laboratory for Proteomics of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine based on “state-of-the-art” technology applied in molecular medicine. Our laboratory achieves cooperation at the European and world level, and thus selected candidates will be able to achieve scientific cooperation outside the Republic of Croatia.
