FAO Internship Programme (181011)

If you would like to work at the EuFMD as an intern, you will need to apply online via the FAO employment website. Please do check the requirements listed. The Internship Programme is a learning opportunity aiming to attract talented young women and men who are strongly motivated to share their new perspectives, innovative ideas and latest research experience in FAO’s domains.

The programme provides selected students, enrolled in an under-graduate, graduate or post-graduate degree programme or recent graduates with the opportunity to supplement, their academic knowledge with a practical work assignments in a field related to the work of FAO. The Commission provides internships in a technical and non-technical capacity.

Master Degree Internship (CIRAD & EuFMD on risk mapping)

EuFMD and CIRAD are offering a joint and unique opportunity to host a master degree internship consisting of three months based at FAO Headquarters in Rome, Italy as well as three additional months based at CIRAD campus in Montpellier. The intern would assist the development of the CIRAD risk information and risk mapping methodology for Transboundary Animal Diseases in the European neighborhood countries, to improve FMD prevention and control strategies. Activities undertaken during the internship with relate to Component 2.1 and Component 2.3 of the EuFMD work programme.
